iPhone 6S, iPhone 6S+, 12.9-inch iPad Pro and updated apple TV box to be launched September.
Buzzfeed on Friday reported Apple will hold its next product launch the week of September 7 which is the date of last years launch, with September 9 being the most likely date. Buzzfeed said along with new iPhones the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S+, Apple will use the event to showcase its newest iPads the 12.9-inch iPad Pro which remains a wild card and its iOS 9: a new and updated Apple TV. This would mark a break from Apple's traditional strategy of holding separate events for its smartphones and tablets. Typically, the iPhone is announced in September and is followed by the iPad in October.
The iPhones (the “S” cycle) themselves, are not expected to look considerably different from the current iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus but they'll likely boast internal improvements such as Force Touch support, a better camera, faster processor, quicker wireless speeds, more colour options and could include other tweaks like the Siri (Apple's voice assistant) was added to the iPhone 4S.
It's currently thought that Apple's signature tablet is being included here because Apple wants the iPad to share in the same excitement that the new iPhones will undoubtedly enjoy in an effort to boost their consistently flagging sales.
